Logo & Design: Your Key to the Perfect Company Presence
➞ What can a Logo & Design do for the success of your business? What is the creation process, and what suits you best? You’ll find the answers to these questions in this article!
A well-designed logo and design is THE expression and visualization of your brand identity. It allows your customers and potential clients to distinguish your business from others and maybe even develop brand loyalty. But before I get ahead of myself, let’s take a closer look.

How a Logo & Design Contributes to Your Success
Yes, a logo and design have a direct and significant impact on the success of your business.
But why exactly, and how? These factors explain it.
1.
Convey professionalism
A high-quality logo and design first convey professionalism and say, “This company is serious, values its customers, and knows what it’s doing!” Once a business uses a well-designed brand presence, it is automatically perceived as “authentic,” “successful,” and “high-quality.” The advantage for newly founded companies with a logo and design is clear: customers take the business and its professionalism seriously, negotiate less, and provide referrals.
2.
Grab attention
One of the greatest strengths of a logo and design is directing the attention of customers. Think back to the last time you were searching for something in a supermarket – maybe a special chocolate or a particular coffee brand. Your eyes scanned the shelves for a design that matched your needs for the product. Sustainability – full indulgence – chocolaty goodness (is that a word?) – whatever it was. A logo and design guide our eyes and attract attention. The right logo and design will naturally draw your customers to your brand and your offerings or products.
3.
Build trust
Through the professional appearance of a logo and design mentioned above, trust is established. Customers are more likely to make a purchase quickly when they feel they are receiving something reliable and valuable. A logo and design therefore support purchasing decisions and increase sales.
4.
Create recognition
Once customers are won over, they want more – or repeatedly – from your brand. It’s even better if they can immediately recognize your brand by its logo and design. This makes the decision to spend money quick and easy. Think of the last Apple or Nike product you bought with excitement. The branding helped you recognize the brand and make a confident, trust-based decision. You recognized the brand along with its promises.
5.
Strengthen brand identity
The right logo and design speak directly to your target audience and naturally strengthen your brand identity. The brand becomes known for something, has a style, a tone – something “typical” of it that it communicates. The logo and design emphasize this style and the tone the brand wants to convey, attracting the right customers.
6.
Encourage repeat customers
As a result, we repeatedly consume products from the brand. I’ve been using the same mascara for 15 years. I’m typing this blog post on my MacBook, with my Apple iPhone right next to me. I would buy the Doc Martens in my closet again anytime (the quality is simply unmatched!). This is how logos and design create loyal customers!
What Makes a Professional Logo & Design
One could argue that every logo and design ultimately creates a brand identity. I would even agree with that. But does every logo really have the right impact? I don’t think so. Let me show you with some examples:
Does this logo suit a yoga instructor?

Is this logo suitable for a technical consultant?

Does this logo suit a funeral services company?

A logo and design are created specifically for a target audience and not just to appeal to them. They should also communicate the context and offerings of the brand. That’s why it’s important not to use just any symbol for the logo, but to reflect your company’s professionalism and values in the logo, and to entrust the creation of a logo to a professional. This has the following advantages:
The logo and design follow a clear, consistent thread
Homemade logos by people without design training often look a bit “patched together.” You can tell it was DIY. No wonder—just as I couldn’t properly lay a roof or seal a patient’s tooth without it looking amateurish afterward. A professional logo is creative yet clear and understandable at the same time. An attractive design (for the target audience) always has a special element, a consistent thread that appears repeatedly. This effect is created through the deliberate yet varied use of consistent colors, fonts, shapes, patterns, image styles, etc. Creating this system so that it is truly coherent, effective, AND unique is no easy task—it requires a lot of brainpower.

The logo is crafted with precision
Imagine you have a new logo for your business and want to start using it. You print it on a flyer and notice—wait, it looks a bit pixelated! Then you want to have it engraved on pens and realize: oops, you don’t have the correct file in the right size, line thickness, and color. So no pens, but a branded T-shirt instead. But… even for that, you don’t have the right file format!? The amount of work, time, and cost lost because of this is enormous. A professionally created logo and design includes all the necessary file formats, sizes, and resolutions you need from the start.
Typically, you need a set of these files
• The logo in color with dark text (for printing on white)
• The logo in color with white text (for printing on black)
• The logo in full black and full white (for engraving, embroidery, etc.)
• The logo icon in color, black, and white without text (for stickers, business cards, etc.)
➞ All of these files provided in PNG format (transparent background) and SVG format
The logo is unique
This is what hurts my designer heart the most: many logos that you find on the internet and “can just use” (WARNING: you can’t, it’s copyright infringement!) – as well as the results from logo makers – neglect everything you learned earlier in this article: these logos are not and can never be unique. Because many people know how to use Google and get a result from a logo maker that “will do.” Hundreds, if not thousands, of other companies around the world use these designs. In addition, I want my clients and you to feel that your logo is not just an “okay solution,” but that it will be THE symbol for you, your services, your values, and, in the future, your success. You and your company are unique, and the world should know it!

How your logo and design are created: the process in detail
How do you get a professional logo and design? This is how the collaboration process usually works:
Briefing
To create a suitable logo and design, designers need a briefing that clearly explains who you are, what your company does, who your target audience is, and what brand impact you want to achieve. This can be done in a meeting.
➞ I work with a workbook and specific questions that you can think through and answer at your leisure. This ensures that everything important to your brand is covered. (Time required: approx. 60 minutes).
Preparation of quotations
After that, a quote will be prepared, with the price for your logo ranging from €2,500 to €10,000 net, depending on whether you want to work with a freelancer (usually cheaper) or an agency (usually more expensive).
➞ I charge a fixed price of €2,190 net for the logo and design.
Initial drafts
Once you have accepted the offer, you will receive the first drafts of your logo and design after a short period of time. You can provide feedback by email or phone.
➞ I work in a workshop format. Together with you, I create the first sketches, gather ideas, and select the best sketches. Within an hour, the first digital drafts are created, live before your eyes.
Correction loops
After you provide your feedback, the correction loops begin. As a rule, an offer for the above-mentioned amount includes 2-3 correction loops, no more. So it takes very clear communication and a really good designer who understands you directly and works out the design the way you want it.
➞ II don't limit the number of revision rounds. We refine your ideal logo and design until it's absolutely perfect.
Completion
The classic process of creating a logo and design realistically takes around three months (based on experience!), as the correction loops take up many days and weeks. Once you have received the drafts, you need to find the time to provide feedback that is good enough for the designer to continue working on them in a way that is truly suitable. Your comments are then implemented, sent to you, and the next correction loop begins.
➞ I love efficiency and am not a patient person. That's why I'll design your logo and design with you in just one day. You'll see the drafts right away, we'll incorporate your feedback and ideas immediately, and we'll refine your logo until it's truly perfect. All in just one day – in 8 hours!
