The goal of the day is to have your website fully designed and set up, so you have as little (technical) work as possible. We plan all the content, which I then implement both visually and technically: I install the theme and all fonts (GDPR-compliant), add your corporate colours and logo, and design all planned pages and subpages. By the end of our 8-hour collaboration, your website is ready to go.
Video Tutorials for Easy Use
After our collaboration, you should be able to manage your new website independently—for example, updating text or images without my help. To make this as simple as possible, the package includes a video tutorial library with many 2-minute videos. These show you, step by step, exactly where to click to make changes, like swapping an image. This way, you can easily work on your site anytime on your own!

What to expect
Here’s how the Take Off Day Web Design work
Preparation & Appointment
We meet at 9:30 a.m. in my office in Berlin-Charlottenburg or online via Zoom. Together, we’ll work intensively on your design for 8 hours. I’ll provide all necessary workshop materials, as well as snacks and drinks. You don’t need to bring anything except your laptop and the completed workbook you received from me beforehand.
Workbook & Briefing
We start the day by reviewing the workbook so I can deeply understand you and your work. This ensures I can provide targeted guidance for your desired brand impact and web design. Here, we also discuss the content and features you want for your website and add anything your clients may need to be fully convinced.
We create your website!
Now I set up your website for you: I install the WordPress theme, create all pages and subpages, and add corporate colours and fonts (GDPR-compliant, of course!). Then I begin designing your homepage. You provide feedback on the style and design, and I implement any adjustments immediately. Once the right design style is set, I design all other planned subpages. During this time, you can start drafting your text and gathering images for your website.
Your website is fully designed and set up!
At the end, we do the final touches: Are all buttons correctly linked? Does the site look good on mobile? Is the font size ideal? Do all chosen icons fit? Once the last small adjustments are made, your website is fully designed and ready to go. Eight hours are up!

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Design and have worked at Gründerszene, a startup, and the agency TLGG as a designer—learning a lot along the way. I’ve been self-employed full-time since 2016 and haven’t looked back. I also offer logo design from Berlin.

Images are nice to have: If you already have images you’d like to showcase on your website, definitely bring them with you. If you still want to have professional images taken, I provide you with a checklist including tips on outfit, format, file size, etc., which you can hand over to your photographer. Until then, we can fill your website with stock photos or placeholders.
I create websites based on WordPress. Note: this does not mean “WordPress.com,” but WordPress as a content management system (CMS). It is installed on your domain and allows us to manage, design, and adjust your site without any programming. Every domain provider also offers a “WordPress package.” If you’re unsure when booking, you can contact me at any time. Specific provider suggestions can be found in the workbook for preparation.
I work exclusively with WordPress and do not offer web design for Wix, Squarespace, or similar platforms.
You can edit your website independently at any time. We will both have user access to the site, so you can log in and make changes whenever you like.
The web design is built with a theme that allows for easy editing. You can add elements and move them around on the page simply by clicking and dragging.
To make sure you always know how to make your own changes (e.g., updating a phone number or swapping a photo), a video tutorial library is included in the price. This lets you check step by step how to implement any change yourself.
Need help? If you require assistance with edits or want to expand your site after our collaboration, we can always work together on an hourly basis.
The goal is that your website is fully set up and designed by the end of the day. This means:
- The theme is installed
- Pages and subpages are created
- All pages are fully designed
- Your photos or placeholder images are added
- If time allows, we can also add the texts
I set your website to editing mode so that the work-in-progress is not publicly visible. Once the website is complete, we’ll make it live. You can also do this yourself – there’s an easy video tutorial for that too.
We can work on your website via Zoom. Alternatively, we can meet in person at my office in Berlin, located near the Bahnhof Zoo.
